Neil's story
After more than 20 years working in finance recruitment, the majority of it spent specialising in local government, I made the decision to launch my own agency, Rutherford Recruitment, so I could offer councils a more personal, focused service than the larger generalist firms typically provide.
Rutherford Recruitment was built on relationships I have developed over two decades with S151 Officers and Chief Executives across the country. It exists to do one thing well: connecting councils with the right interim finance talent, quickly.
How we work
Every enquiry comes directly to me, not a call centre or a junior consultant. I bring over 20 years of specialist local government finance experience and an established network built over that time, so I can move quickly when a council needs an interim professional in place.
I believe in long-term partnerships over one-off transactions, and in being straightforward with both clients and candidates throughout the process.
